What People Say

"After my father passed, we found decades of documents in several boxes with no system at all. I was overwhelmed before the session even started. Narisara helped us sort everything in one afternoon — and she was incredibly patient when I needed to pause. We left with a folder kit I still use. It has made a genuinely difficult time a bit more manageable."

"I attended the Legacy Writing Workshop with my mother and my aunt. My mother is in her seventies and was a little unsure at first, but by the second hour she was writing stories I had never heard before. The workshop creates a space that is warm rather than formal. The keepsake booklets are now among the most important things in our house."

"We used the Document Atelier Session for my husband's family records — some in Thai, some in English. The session itself was calm and methodical. I would have liked a little more time, but we covered everything important. The checklist has been useful for adding new documents as they arrive. A thoughtful service overall."

"Our organisation works with families during estate administration. We commissioned the Preservation Operations Advisory to improve our client-facing record handling process. The written report was thorough and practical — it gave us a clear path to implement better systems without needing significant resources. We have since restructured our intake forms based on the recommendations."

"I booked the workshop for my siblings and I as a way to spend meaningful time with our grandmother while she still remembers clearly. She spoke for almost two hours — things she had never told any of us. Kirati managed the room beautifully, making sure everyone had space to write and to listen. I cannot put a value on what we came home with."

"I was slightly unsure what a document atelier session would involve — the term sounded more elaborate than I expected. In practice it was calm and straightforward. We sorted my late mother's records into a workable system in an afternoon. Patchara was helpful in the lead-up and made scheduling easy. The folder kit is a nice touch."

Client Journeys

The Challenge

A family in transition

A family in Ratchathewi had recently inherited a property and needed to locate, sort, and file documents across three generations of records — certificates, contracts, correspondence, and photographs — most of which were stored in mixed condition across several boxes.

The Approach

Document Atelier Session

Two members of the family attended the session with Narisara. Over three hours, they sorted records by category and time period, identified which documents might need professional follow-up from appropriate specialists (outside Vellichor's scope), and built a reference system using the Atelier folder kit.

The Outcome

Clarity and confidence

The family left with all records sorted, a clear folder system in place, and a checklist for any additional documents they locate. They reported feeling significantly less overwhelmed and more able to take informed next steps with appropriate professionals. Total engagement: one session.

"We finally feel like we know what we have."

The Challenge

Stories held only in memory

A family in Khlong Toei wanted to record their grandfather's stories and values before his health declined further. They had made informal attempts to write things down themselves but found the process difficult to structure and emotionally hard to begin.

The Approach

Legacy Writing Workshop

Five family members — including the grandfather — attended the half-day workshop. Kirati led the writing exercises with a quiet, flexible approach that allowed the grandfather to speak while others wrote, and offered prompts that opened up stories the family had not heard before.

The Outcome

A keepsake already in use

Each participant left with their keepsake template booklet partially filled. The family has since continued writing in them at home, with the grandfather contributing during visits. They have described the workshop as one of the most meaningful afternoons the family has shared in years.

"Stories we had nearly lost are now written down."

The Challenge

Inconsistent organisational records

A mid-sized services firm in Bangkok's CBD had no consistent approach to preserving records related to family clients. Different staff members used different filing conventions, and retrieving older records was becoming a source of recurring difficulty for client-facing teams.

The Approach

Preservation Operations Advisory

Vellichor conducted three working meetings with three members of staff, reviewed the existing filing conventions, and assessed the organisation's documentation handling across paper and digital formats. A written recommendations report was delivered within two weeks of the final meeting.

The Outcome

A workable, consistent system

The organisation implemented the core recommendations within six weeks, including a unified naming convention, a staff reference guide, and a revised intake form for new client records. The client reported a measurable reduction in time spent locating records. Engagement: one advisory package.

"The report gave us exactly what we needed to move forward."
